I owned the sedan, same color. It had 275k when I sold it. Trap was already removed. Om603 had head cracking issues. MB addressed this with redesigned heads that did not crack...but it was too late and the om603 didn't live !

It must be a smooth ride driving it. These cars were sold here in NZ in limited numbers. They were very expensive to buy. From Carl.

Twenty- five years ago I owned a 1993 LX 5.0 in (Reef Blue) one of the rarest colors ever produced and I would like to think that I would still have it to this day if an ABSOLUTELY COMPLETE 🤬 driving a 1989 F-150 hadn't rear ended me at 40-50 miles an hour I AM STILL BEYOND PISSED!

Got to drive a 1973 530 i. With a 4 speed .it had 208 net or din. Hp was strong running and a unique sound from that inline 6 .for the time it really moved .I would love to n drive it today.

Back when I was a kid, a lady lived near my house who was rumored to have an old car . I got up the nerve to knock on her door and ask her about it, and she took me into her old storage house out back, took me in and uncover a 1927 model A that her father bought her new. She told me that she and her father took a train to Detroit in 27 to take delivery and he taught her how to drive it on their way back to Mount Pleasant TN. The old car was completely original, and she said it hadn’t been driven since 1949, when her then Husband bought their first new car: an Oldsmobile. Said she could never part with the Model A because her father had bought it for her as a High School graduation gift, and she drove it to college. Needless to say , my father tried hard to buy it from her, but said she’d already promised it to her grandson in her will. That was in 1969. I’m now 66, and this is the first time I shared the story online.

The engine sound reminds me of my 123 diesel. I remember that someone owned a DS in Georgetown, Washington DC. I happened to be on Q Street one day and saw someone exit the vehicle. It was my first time seeing it live. In the next few minutes, the vehicle lowered to the ground. Awesome I thought to myself. The interior looks very comfortable.
